Yesterday I bought 2 Nerf Maverick guns (one for my boy, one for me), I had little idea of how cheap the things are, well worth the price.

Now the design of the gun is very nice indeed, but the colouring looks closer to clown vomit than anything approaching cool. Something had to be done.

Thanks to the advice I found on this page and a couple of cans of spray paint, I set about painting the gun to something more fitting it’s sci-fi inspired design.

My repainted model, Blade Runner-ish.

Still needs work, such as a wood/leather looking hand-grip, maybe an LED shining out of somewhere and a bit more silver/chrome paint. As it is though, much improved and rather nice looking.
